Selecta Group and Fiserv to roll out cashless payments across Europe
BROOKFIELD, Wisconsin & CHAM, Switzerland – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Selecta Group, Europe’s leading route-based self-service retailer offering coffee and ready-to-eat solutions in the workplace and public spaces, has partnered with Fiserv, Inc., ( NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of payment services and financial services technology solutions, to begin improving and streamlining digital payments at its point of sale, meeting consumer demand and increasing efficiency operational as self-service technologies such as vending machines and smart fridges explode in a pandemic-aware world.
Selecta’s vision is to have a ONE Selecta technology solution that will support cashless interactions across all of its operations and enable future development and integration. The company is backed by a unique pan-European payment solution from Fiserv that will support payments with global and local card systems and mobile point-of-sale applications.
Selecta is also evaluating a mobile payment app, which will include access to a Selecta loyalty program. A dedicated merchant portal will allow Selecta to streamline terminal management, including integration and activation, reporting and information, maintenance and diagnostics.
The deployment of the Fiserv payment platform began in summer 2021 in Selecta’s European markets.
