Riva Road Farmer’s Market adds Wednesdays to its weekly calendar

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Anne Arundel County Farmers Market will be adding Wednesday afternoons to its weekly schedule.
The increase in customer demand has led the market to offer this new time slot from October 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The pavilion open-air market on the corner of Riva Road and Truman Parkway will feature freshly prepared food as well as fresh, locally sourced garden produce, meats and seafood from a diverse group of vendors. Other products such as fresh bread, olive oils, bourbon and tequila specialties, and sweets will be offered.
It will be the place to stop on the way back for a fully cooked dinner.
In addition to the new Wednesday market hours, the Holiday Market will open on November 20 and run until December 19 on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Vendors will offer unique gift items, from handmade wooden ornaments and toys to scented candles, evergreen wreaths, fine jewelry, cutting boards and furniture, as well as seasonal produce, meat, milk. and eggs, pies and other sweet products. It really is a holiday market.
AAC Farmers’ Market is always striving to improve its offering to our customers and to improve the market itself. The outdoor site provides a safe and enjoyable environment for browsing, shopping and socializing. Four new picnic tables have been installed and a bike rack will be in place soon. This year, the market also improved its lighting and installed new industrial fans. For more information, visit the website at: aacofamersmarket.com.
