The open air markets for Court Street traders are back with a double Christmas party scheduled for this weekend.
Gary Augustus, a businessman who owns the Connections clothing store and Soul Food Grill on Court Street, said there was a “sense of excitement” among retailers about the market, the third of its kind this year. year.
Mr Augustus added, “People have been kept at home – it’s a chance to come out and see what’s on sale in a safe and friendly environment.”
He added: “It’s also a chance to choose Bermuda and support local businesses.”
Holiday gift purchases will also include a festive raffle with lots of prizes hosted by North Hamilton businesses.
More than 50 vendors will set up kiosks and tables on Court Street between Dundonald and Elliott streets from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The event will be followed on December 19 by a night market from noon to 8 p.m.

Police patrols will keep an eye on the two blocks open to pedestrians during both events.
