Cars and coffee come back on Saturday
Cars and coffee at Potter Village will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday August 7. It will be at 1210 Oak Harbor Road, Fremont. The show schedule goes back to the first Saturday of each month.
Downtown Fremont Farmer’s Market

Gibsonburg to host the Arts and Wine Fest on Saturday
GIBSONBURG – The Gibsonburg Arts and Wine Festival will be held in Williams Park from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 7. Entertainment will include Mike Riser from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Chase Eagleson from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free while the wine tasting costs $ 20 for five tickets. Office of Veterans Services provides school supplies
OAK HARBOR – The Ottawa County Veterans Services Bureau is offering veterans a place to pick up bags of school supplies for their school-aged children until Friday. If the dates don’t work, contact their office to make alternate arrangements.

Two roads expected to be paved in Ottawa County
OAK HARBOR – The Ottawa County Engineer’s Office reports that the County and Township of Carroll have contracted with Erie Blacktop to pave several roads and sections on Friday and Saturday. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Bier Road between Ohio 19 and Behlman Road and on Russel Road between Ohio 2 and Duff-Washa Road.

Fair to organize an annual baby contest
The 22nd Annual Sandusky County Fair Baby Pageant will be held at 10:30 a.m. on August 28 at the Log Cabin. The theme will be “Made at the farm”. The registration fee is $ 5. The age ranges for boys and girls will be 6 to 12 months, 13 to 18 months, 19 to 24 months and 25 to 36 months. Trophies and ribbons will be provided. Registration forms are available now until noon on August 9. The deadline is noon on August 27.
